If you embrace the transformative power of stories, come poze (Haitian-Creole for hangout) with me on the stoop of a cozy, corner brownstone of our own making. I’m a Black clinical psychologist who’s passionate about blending the worlds of psychology, diverse storytelling, and mental health education. Whether it’s unpacking the psychological insights found in literature or diving into diverse narratives that reflect our collective experiences, this space is where I read a lot, write a bit, and strive to be in community with you as we discover the power of being seen and being known one word and one page at a time. Let’s be sure to have fun and take deep breaths along the way, shall we?

So if you’re a nerdy Black girl, a profressional seeking a creative outlet, a parent with a bookworm-to-be kid, or an adult desparately in need of a bigger adult (not it) – grab a seat and get comfy. Here, we prioritize cultural representation and mental well-being so come join us in a space where your narrative matters.
